Moon Ring in all its entirety
his is a tale of romance, short as it may be it for you has the same effect as it does for me. Which is that sometimes you meet that one person that you I know you will never see again and that this one time you enjoy every moment.
We shall call the girl Ava and the boy Etienne. The place the story starts and ends are the streets of London. Ava hasn’t been to London she came with friends two days before and is now by herself getting a feel for the city. She is from an equally big city but far away. She was advised to go to Shoreditch but decided to start with Trafalgar square. She is staying at friends in Brixton near academy actually. So she heads to her first stop and gets off at Leicester square and walks down to the square and stops at the lions. She sees a boy of what would seem in his later teenage years she is 18 herself so; she asks him if he has a spare cigarette. He replies “ funny, I was going to ask you the same question” she looks crestfallen so he says “ well why don’t we both help each other out and look together in this hunt for a cigarette.” So they go round the square asking anyone with a cigarette who at the same time look like they may be willing to give one to two teenagers. Some of the lines go “would it be too much to ask you for a cigarette if that is possible. “Or the conventional “hey, spare cigarette” I will say that the former worked better especially if it was said in the cheeky tones of the boy Etienne. They successfully manage to get a few and thy rejoice in the fact. He then asks her “would it be okay if we were to carry on this adventure, I’m sure we can find something going on.” She hesitates, and then surprises him with the answer “why? Well” to not sound so cliché “why not”
Following on from as close as to where we left off. I go back to the evening and back to Trafalgar square.
"Okay but as soon as it gets boring I'm going to go. Deal?"
The boy replies in such a way that he seeks only to prove himself "Ok I except the task of keeping this evening as entertaining as possible." with a dubious sound to her voice she asks "What do you have in mind?"and with the most boyish of grins he says "Well first off, some well needed wine is needed to be purchased."
"well I guess we might as well start, however if all that happens is you trying to get me drunk then I'm leaving now!"
"dear Ava how mistaken you are, this is but the kindling to get this joyous occasion heading in a positive direction."
"okay, fine but you are buying it"
"hmmm, I was think of more procuring at a lower price than usual." the boyish grin is back again, but this time with a hint of deviousness hidden behind it.
"fine, what shop are you going to steal it from?" she replies casually to his less than legal intentions.
“I guess i might as well just go to that Tesco on the corner, any preference to what wine you want?"
Keeping with her not impressed attitude she says "red, white I don't care as long as its drinkable"
"Wonderful, wait here ill be back in no time at all" and with that he runs across road, ignoring the busy evening traffic. Once inside the tesco he browses the shelves for where the alcohol is kept. He must not ask because that brings attention to his search and to him. He goes to the back of the shop with quick glances to the security guard at the front of the shop helping out a costumer with her bags. He grabs a bottle of red one that has a price of just over five pounds thinking that it can’t be awful. So stuffing it in the rip of his jacket he walks out as if he is disinterested with what the shop has to offer.
She watches the door of the shop waiting for him to come out. When he finally does his facial expressions seems to show that he was unsuccessful with his mission. But then he gives an ear to ear smile when he is running towards her. She feels oddly relived that he wasn't caught, she pushes it to the back of her mind, and just as he takes out the bottle of red he had hiding in the rip of his jacket.
"Is this good enough for you?"
"I have no idea yet, but let me try it and I will tell you whether you should go get another or not." she unscrews the cap and sips takes a considerable amount in the first mouthful, swallows it and says" I guess it will have to do, so where are we going?"
grinning with red teeth and lips from the wine he says "well lets get going then." and runs to hail a taxi he leans over the open window to tell the taxi driver the location, but the traffic is too loud and she misses what he says.
"I thought you said you didn't have any money?" She says with a suspicious tone.
He simply replies "I lied”.
the only way too put into the words the feeling she had was and is a jumble of excitement, anticipation and a healthy amount of fear.
but considering all this would you have got in the taxi with this boy?
well if you are a no or a yes, it is irrelevant because there was only one thing she was thinking and where are we going?
that now almost annoying yet still intriguing grin is back again and with that she gives up guessing where she is going and moves to who and what is this boy?
" I will say this though, its gonna take about 30 minutes to get there and where we are getting dropped off is not our chosen destination, and if it was it would take away all my delight of you frantically guessing where we are headed." he said with a hint of arrogance, which made her give the smallest giggle in retaliation.
:" well actually i had given up that pointless activity and gone to thinking if you really are a nob or you just seem like one" and with that she laughs until the sourest of expressions is plastered on his face.
" ok fine i will stop with the mystery well at least some of it" he says finally
" how come you were in Trafalgar square then?" she starts off with the questions
" would it sound too awful if i said i was waiting for you? well at least you in the sense as something or someone i could enjoy and evening with" she could tell right away that he much preferred mystery to just being straight up, and any pretense she had of getting answers from him was dashed.
instead she played it his way so when he came to ask her
the same question she said " well i wasn't looking for you but that is what i found."
He gave her a reassuring smile, before he gestured that they should get out. one thing the boy had come to realize like no doubt she had, that after this evening they would never see each other again. So for that reason he savored every moment with her.
They had arrived outside a what seemed to be a disused theatre. It had one of those light bulb signs. But you could barely tell that it had a sign at all as it was almost entirely fallen apart. It look as if it had once been a place of wonderment. but those days had passed.
Etienne took her hand and pushed open the double doors of the fallen theatre.
As they entered they were greeted by the echoes of voices, that could only be coming from where the stage was. getting closer too the main theater room the voices became more clear.
Ava was surprised that even though they were in a building that was falling apart, she felt safe with him.
they walked through into the room. There were people on the stage acting out what seemed to be some sort of play.
There was a banner above the stage saying "The society for guerrilla actors".
He told her " the come together make a play for one evening, where ever they want, whenever."
All the chairs had been taken out.
He kept hold of her hand and raced towards one of the boxes so they could perch on the edge of it and see the performance.
"they take it in turns to do their own plays" he explained
They sat close too each other observing the odd actors playing in their unknown play.
As it came to and end, he took out a cigarette from his blazer.
"Do you want one?" he asked
"I thought you didn't have any? and that was the purpose of our search before?" as an after thought she added "I wonder what else you have lied about this evening?"
He didn't answer straight away " I lied too make things more spontaneous, but then again thats all this is spontanity" he added " I paid the taxi driver too take you anywhere you want, I'll see you around"
And with that he left with out another word.
she watched him leave and was moved by something she never felt before.
A few hours later a boy and and girl by the names of Penelope Ava Heron and Vincent Etienne Versaille got on too a train, too return from their alias.

The Grim Bar part 2
She too walked too the bar, but asked for the use of a telephone instead.
Picking up the receiver of the talking device, she uttered two words " he's here'
With that she sat down to the face the odd man.
" So you are here for me are you? I was going to pretend I'm not aware of who you were but then again here we are talking too each other' she said it with such reserve the man was almost perturbed by it.
In actually fact the man has never showed any sort of emotion apart from his grim sense of defeat.
She now talked too him staring forwards, trying not too be effected by the ominous fellow.
"How much time is there?"
He just said " Till the end of this conversation"
